Both Victoria and Michelle Obama have worn this Marc Jacobs dress recently. Victoria wore it a few months ago while making her way to London. The fashion designer wore her Brian Atwood Maniac pumps with it and VB sunglasses. Victoria also toted matching taupe bags from her new line. Mrs. Obama wore it with brown tights and knee high brown boots during a news conference on food availability and affordability on January 20th.

It has been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will attend the Marc Jacobs fall 2010 fashion show during NY Fashion week. The fashionista will be sitting front row, next to a lucky contest winner I might add, during the show which will be streamed live on February 15th at 8:00pm.
In a recent interview with The Times, designer Marc Jacobs praised his fashionista BFF, Victoria Beckham, on her designs and her work ethic:"I’ll reserve judgment on celebrity lines in general, but I think Victoria’s in a different category. She’s really working her ass off. She knows her body very well and she’s making something that really appeals to women who want beautifully made, figure-conscious clothes that aren’t vulgar. I wouldn’t say she asks my advice, but she’s always keen to learn. She’s lovely."He seems genuinely proud of her! She must be so happy to have such kind words coming from well known and established designers!

The T-Shirt is from a Marc Jacobs campaign that has tastefully featured several celebrities. David Beckham proudly wore his T-shirt last year.
I really am loving this look more and more to be honest- it's so different! As we all know, Marc Jacobs styled Victoria for this event so the dress is 100% by him. The futuristic looking shoes are from the Louis Vuitton fall 2009 collection. Coincidentally, Marc Jacobs designed these shoes for Louis Vuitton - he themed the entire collection after the '80s.

Good friends, Victoria Beckham and Marc Jacobs, are set to interview each other for the upcoming spring issue of Bergdorf Goodman Magazine. The fashionable pair discuss everything from his nude photo in January’s Harper’s Bazaar — “They’ve done this horrible thing, Victoria,” Jacobs said. “They’ve airbrushed me, so I look like a Ken doll.” — to his designer advice for her — “Marc said, ‘So long as it is the absolute best quality, so long as you love it, then that is all you can do.’” They also address gossip columists & media hounds for misinformation: “The problem is, when you are well-known in the tabloids, and you’re trying to break into a new industry, it makes it very difficult, because people get preconceptions, and so everybody thinks that I am a miserable bitch who goes shopping every day,” says Victoria to which Marc answers that in the end, the most important person isn’t so much the critic, but the customer. “The people who live for reviews and gossip and are on those blogs all the time, that’s probably not your customer,” Jacobs said. “The customer is the woman who wants a great dress. She’s not concerned with what a critic thinks, or what a gossip column says about my boyfriend.” -> Hey, I think blogs are fabulous :)
As many of you may have noticed, Fashion Week this time around is a quieter than usual. Many designers opted for either private viewings, no shows at all, or, like Marc Jacobs, no celebrity guest list. This is most likely why we have seen so little of front row favoritie, Victoria Beckham. Last night, at the Armani store opening, Victoria - who looked absolutely amazing, spoke of her friend Marc Jacobs, whos line she was the covergirl for last year, and said: "I really love Marc. I think he's a genius. He's always been supportive of me and everything that I do. It was a shame I couldn't be there [for his show]. But I was busy working on my presentations, too. You know, I think it's not really about having celebrities at your show,Marc has support from the most incredible celebrities in the world. I thought he did a great show." The fashionista did see the show from the comfort of her hotel room. "I saw it online. I think it was great. I'm in complete awe of him," she concluded.
And in case you were wondering, cause I know I was, her fabulous cuff bracelet was by Marc Jacobs. I loved it!! It's from the fall 2008 collection.
The latest Beckham rumor today is that David and Victoria were photographed leaving Nobu about the same time as Madonna not actually dining with her. http://www.people.com/ is stating that the soccer star and fashionista were actually dining with Victoria's designer BFF Marc Jacobs."Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, enjoying a sushi dinner with two pals at Nobu West Hollywood. And it was an A-list night at the eatery: Madonna supped with a music producer pal across the restaurant."The only thing that puzzles me is that Marc was no where to be found in any of the pictures. Oh well I guess we are all just going to have to decide for ourselves on this one.
