The Look for Less: Brian Atwood Drama Pumps

When the Brian Atwood Drama pumps were first released, they sold out like hotcakes! Now that sale season is over for fall, the hunt for the now impossible to find straggler pairs is even more difficult. But good news for those of you who either missed the Dramas the first time around (like me... and I could kick myself for doing so) or could not get passed the $660 retail price tag, you're in luck. The often designer inspired Steve Madden is now offering an extremely similar version called the Bevv-B. These are much more budget friendly... they retail for $99.95!

In VB's Closet: Christian Louboutin Daffodile Pumps

Now I thought my YSL Tribtoos were serisouly high! These things take the cake!

I knew once I first saw the Daffodile pumps that Victoria would definitely be spotted out in a pair and now she has. These are the newest Louboutin "it" shoe and they are selling out like wildfire everywhere! I was actually in a store today that had this exact pair and the sales girl told me that before they even came in the boutique, she had atleast 30 calls a day about them! Now she's had to restock them twice and they came in last month! It was the first I had seen them in person and they are HUGE!

These bad boys give meaning to sky-high! Here are the tech specs:
- Heel Height: 6 inches approx. - 160 mm approx.
- Arch: 4 inches approx. - 100 mm approx.
- Platform Height: 2.5 inches approx. - 60 mm approx.

They are available here for $995. I honestly hated them at first, but they are slowly growing on me. Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, and Heidi Klum are huge fans of the shoes.

Victoria's New Boots

There was a bit of a debate on whether or not these boots were by Christian Louboutin as I had originally posted. Some of you thought they were Brian Atwood boots, and even Alaia. I haven't seen them yet, I've been searching, but they do resemble Alaia soles now that Anon has pointed it out to me (thanks!)... I'll keep looking and when I find them, I'll update this post.

They are suede with a chunky heel and if you look closely, there seems to be lace detail towards the back.

VB's Faves: Brian Atwood Dante Pumps

The Brian Atwood Dante pump is about as sexy as you can get... tall curvy heel, fishnet detailing, and lots of toe cleavage. Victoria Beckham definitely favors this style as she owns the shoe in not one, not two, but three different colors. She has the black patent leather, nude capretto, and now the pythons.

Victoria Beckham seems to have a new favorite shoe style... Brian Atwood's Dante fishnet detail pumps. While out with her husband for Valentine's Day and the Allure party, she wore her third pair (she also owns them in nude and black). This time they were made of python and are from Atwood's spring 2011 collection.

I honestly wasn't too thrilled with Victoria's Valentine's Day outfit because if you piece it all together, we have seen everything atleast once. But she did look amazing. She wore the lovely nude one shoulder drape dress, #87, from her spring 2011 collection paired with her new favorite Alexander McQueen resort 2011 coat (she also wore this when David won the BBC Lifetime Achievement award).

Shoe Collaboration for Fall 2011 - Beckham & Louboutin

Each season we see that Victoria works with one specific designer for the shoes that the models will wear. She started with Christian Louboutin, then went over to Yves Saint Laurent, and finally Brian Atwood.

Since Victoria actually collaborated with Brian Atwood for the shoe designs and colors for her spring 2011 collection, I thought for sure that she would be doing so again (especially since she always wears the designer's shoes herself). But she surprised me and this time around went back to Christian Louboutin with whom she collaborated on two new boot designs.

The Vicky Botta is a heeled boot that is loose fitting from the ankle up. It is a knee high boot that features a square heel and a round pointed toe. This boot was featured in three different colors (rouge, noir, and taupe) and two materials (leather and suede).

The Vicky Booty is a ankle boot that has the same toe and heel shape as the Vicky Botta. This adorable booty style also comes in suede and leather and in the three distinct colors.

The Look for Less: Brian Atwood Chain Back RZ Boots

I don't know about all of you, but I sure fell head over heels for Brian Atwood and Rachel Zoe's RZ boots from Brian's fall 2010 collection the minute we first saw them on Victoria. Yes, they were available soon after, but they came with a hefty price tag of $2,900.

Since I don't have thousands of dollars lying around to shell out for one pair of shoes, you can imagine the excitement I felt when I saw these chain back stretch boots available on Venus.com. Unlike the Atwoods which would cost thousands, these are much more budget friendly at $49!!

You can order them here and they are expected to ship on May 15th.

Pre-Order Brian Atwood's Rose Gold Maniac Pumps Now!

It's the time a ton of fashionistas and shoe addicts have been waiting for! The highly anticipated rose gold Maniac pumps from Brian Atwood's spring 2011 line are now available for pre-order at Nordstroms! As seen in Victoria's spring 2011 presentation (after a collaboration with the designer herself), these shoes are made of mirrored metallic leather that was inspired by Victoria's rose gold Rolex watch.

Currently all sizes are still available for pre-order at Nordstroms here. This is actually the second run at a pre-order since the first time proved just how quickly these will fly! The first run sold out in less than two days!!

They will cost you $596 (that's before taxes and shipping fees) and are expected to ship on March 1st. The rose gold Maniacs will only be offered in limited quantities so get them while you can! I'm beyond tempted to pre-order! Has anyone done so already?

Victoria Collaborates with Brian Atwood for Spring 2011

If you recall, during the presentation of Victoria's spring 2011 collection, each and every one of her models was wearing a pair of rose gold Brian Atwood pumps. If you happened to love them, well you are in luck! The duo are releasing their collaborative creations as a part of Brian's spring 2011 line!

One shoe is a version of the extremely popular "Maniac" pump, and the other is a maryjane version called the "Zenith". The color choice was inspired by Victoria’s favorite Rolex watch, which was a gift from her husband on her 36th birthday.

Who Wore Brian Atwood Better: Victoria or Nicky Hilton?

Brian Atwood's shoes quickly replaced YSLs this year as the celebrity go-to/must have footwear items. These gorgeous Dante pumps from the resort 2011 collection are sure to be a huge hit among the stars... both Victoria and Nicky Hilton already own them.

So who wore them better? Even though the Dantes were the only thing I liked about Victoria's British Fashion Awards ensemble, I would've preferred if she wore a more delicate shoe because the dress itself was a bit "heavy" for me - meaning long and dark in color. Nicky's leather mini is much more flirty and the fishnet details in the shoes really amp up the sex appeal of this outfit. So Nicky is the winner for me.

Who Wore Louboutin Better: Victoria or Cheryl Cole?

Once upon a time, before YSL and Brian Atwood, a lovely lady named Victoria Beckham adored Christian Louboutin shoes. She had them in all styles and colors! :) That was then, but even though she's developed a strong love for other designers, Victoria still holds true to Louboutin from time to time.

One of the spiciest Louboutin pairs she has are her red croc Rolandos. This style is still very much a Louboutin staple and many starlets are still spotted in different color and material variations ala Cheryl Cole. The former Mrs. Ashley Cole stepped out recently in the UK wearing the same pair as VB.

So who wore them better.. Victoria or Cheryl? Well I must say that I applaud Cheryl for attempting to add a pop of color to her outfit but this just wasn't the right way to go. The way Victoria wore them in Milan a few years ago is much more elegant in my opinion. They looked wonderful paired with her red VB spring 2008 dress!

Who Wore Brian Atwood Better: Victoria, Kim Kardashian, or Rachel Zoe?

The Brian Atwood RZ boots are one of my favorite pieces of the designer's fall 2010 collection. I love the simplistic front and the wow factor of the chain detailing in the back. Victoria and Rachel Zoe were first to wear them (it's fitting for Rachel to be one of those to debut them because she co designed them with Brian) and now Kim Kardashian has thrown herself into the mix... we all know that she's a girl who loves the latest it trend!

So who wore them better - Victoria, Kim, or Rachel? For me, I honestly can say that I like how they all wear them. Kim and Rachel spiced up rather simple black outfits with the boots and Victoria added a bit of extra pizazz when she was traveling.

Victoria Beckham has definitely been a huge fan of Brian Atwood shoes this year so it was fitting that she wore them to the 2010 British Fashion Awards. Paired with her black self designed dress were these Dante pumps from Brian Atwood's resort 2011 collection. They are a closed toe platform pump with a fishnet instep and heel. I loved them!

Victoria wore the black patent version to match her dress but the nude/black ones (above) are available at Net-a-Porter here for $640.

Will We See Victoria in These Stunners??

Yes, I know that Victoria already owns the camel/black version of the Christian Louboutin Maggie pumps but I can't help but think that we just might see her out and about in these brand new all black versions from the resort collection.

They are my new lust and must have item from the new collection! I love, love, LOVE them as I'm sure you can tell by my new profile pic (it's always my latest shoe fave)!

In VB's Closet: Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps in Kid

Victoria Beckham adores her Brian Atwood shoes. Lately, she's been wearing her black leather Maniac pumps. They have a 4 3/4 inch heel, 1 inch covered platform, and are the kid leather version of the iconic patent style that she loves so much.

In VB's Closet: Brian Atwood Resort 2011 Shoes

I was patiently waiting for Brian Atwood's official site to be updated with his latest collections and much to my happiness, when I checked today it was! Of the items added were those in the resort 2011 collection... two of which Victoria already owns.

The black Satin Maniac pumps are one of my absolute favorite pairs! I have been searching and searching for them but have had no luck until now! Victoria was the first celebrity to be spotted wearing them and since then, Kelly Ripa, Demi Moore, and Kristen Stewart (to name a few) all have them in their closets as well.

The Milena cork slingbacks with chain details are also fabulous! I absolutely loved when Victoria paired them with her bright green Goat dress!

In VB's Closet: Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 Satin Pumps

Along with her VB dress and ponytail, Victoria wore a two toned pair of satin pumps with pearl detailing from Chanel's pre-fall 2010 collection. I admit, at first glance I didn't like them at all but after looking at a few closeup pictures my mind has changed! I think they're adorable! And I actually prefer them with this particular dress rather than the bronze Atwoods.
