You know it's a slow news day when I blog about Heidi Montag - not my favorite person by any means.

She seems to try to follow a bit in Victoria's footsteps with the Birkin bags, vast high heel shoe collection, etc. For example, Victoria recently was a guest on The View and she wore a self designed dress and her YSL flannel Trib Two pumps. Heidi, who guest co-hosted last week, tried to pull a Posh by wearing the same exact shoes. The only that was different was that Heidi wore a pair of jeans and a gray blazer.
We all know that Heidi Pratt has publicly stated how much she adores Victoria Beckham's style and it seems that lately she's been trying to add a little Posh into her own life- specifically her handbag collection. After realizing that Heidi carried the same Nancy Gonzalez clutch as Victoria last week, I searched a little bit and found out that Heidi has become a bit obsessed with Victoria's trademark handbag brand... Hermes.
Heidi's most recent Birkin is the lime green spotted above (also owned by VB) but she also has the same sky blue color that Victoria has.
Victoria's white Birkin bag is one of my favorites of her collection because it is a timeless color. Heidi's white Birkin was her first of that style before buying the blue and green.
Other than her 3 Birkin bags, the new Mrs. Spencer Pratt also owns two Kelly bags. This tan colored Kelly was her very first Hermes bag. I honestly nearly fell over when I saw her with this!
Her teal green Kelly is gorgeous and another reason I had to ask myself why? and how?! No matter how hard Heidi tries, Victoria will always be the Hermes queen! Although the day Heidi carries a diamond Himalayan Birkin bag is the day I quit!
Other than the Hermes bags, Heidi also owns the Valentino Glamorous tote that Victoria also owns in gray. I have to say I prefer the tan.
Newlyweds Heidi and Spence Pratt where on The View on Monday to promote their new show, I'm a Celebrity... Get me Out of Here, andI have to admit, Heidi did look rather adorable (pains me to say that just a bit). She showed up wearing a cute Herve Leger skirt with a gray top, white sweater, wedges, and a Nancy Gonzalez clutch. Immediately, that clutch bag looked familiar and I remembered, Victoria carried the same bag back in December when she was on her way to Nobu for dinner in NYC. Now who wore it better? For me, as much as I can't stand Heidi and adore Victoria, I think I am going to give this to Heidi (huge shock I know!). I loved it with Heidi's outfit - even though it did break up all of the black for Victoria. Heidi wins for me. What do you guys think? You can purchase the clutch at Saks.
As you all may already know, I am not the world's biggest Heidi Montag fan and it pains me to even refer to her as a celebrity or associate her with Victoria Beckham. Heidi has said a few times that she adores Mrs. B and it's easy to see that Heidi is slowing trying to morph into her a bit. She carries the same handbags (how???), started wearing heels everyday, and the list goes on. Here Heidi was seen around LA with her boyfriend/husband/fiance Spencer Pratt in a purple top, white dVb spring 2009 flare leg jeans, purple YSL Tribute sandals, and a blue Hermes Birkin bag - Victoria has the same one.
First of all, it kinda sickens me a bit to have Heidi Montag next to Victoria in a "Who Wore/Carried it Better" - I have no idea how this girl is really able to afford VB pieces (I know she's on the Hills lol). But anyway, Heidi was spotted indulging in a carmel apple at the recent Lakers game with hubby/fiance/boyfriend Spencer Pratt with her bag on the floor! This is the same bag Victoria owns in gray and Fergie in the identical color. Personally, I adore the bag and prefer the cream color to the gray but it sickens me to see that Heidi just sort of threw it on the floor so Victoria completely wins this for me. As I have told you all before, Heidi Montag has been quoted saying that she is a huge fan of Mrs. Beckham's style. Now we actually see Heidi trying to Poshify her life by teetering around in high heels and carrying Hermes bags (who knew The Hills paid that much?!?) just like Victoria. I was browsing one of my fave sites http://www.gossipgirls.com/ (source) and found this photo of Heidi lunching with Meghan McCain. Heidi wore a white dress, white Christian Louboutin peep toes, a brown belt, and carried a white Hermes bag. We have seen this white shoe/bag combo on Victoria once before. Here is a picture of VB leaving the set of Ugly Betty where she paired a nautical striped ensemble with her white accessories. Now for the question.. who wore it better? I have to give this to Victoria because Heidi and her white accessories get completely lost in her dress. Victoria's navy top and skinny capris give the bag and shoes more room to shine. What do you think?
Christian Louboutin is the "it" shoe designer lately that all of the celebs are wearing. Victoria Beckham has a very extensive collection of Louboutins - in almost every style and color. Another glamazon who loves her Loubs is Christina Aguilera. Heidi Montag has also been spotted in a few different pairs. However, the blue suede pumps seem to be a favorite among these three ladies. Victoria Beckham wore them to Beso for her 34th birthday, Heidi Montag wore them shopping, and Christina Aguilera wore them out and about in LA. Who wore them better? For me, Victoria wins this hands down. She paired them with her blue Versace dress for her birthday for a very elegant look. They matched her dress perfectly. Who do you think wore them best?
Heidi Montag has just spoken about how she and boyfriend Spencer Pratt are aiming to become bigger than the Beckhams but all I see is another Posh Wannabe! We can't yet call her Chanelle #2 because she's not that crazy but she has been sporting a new collection of Hermes bags that are considered Victoria Beckham staples. Victoria has an Hermes collection worth more than the homes of some people and now it seems that Heidi Montag is creating one of her own. Her first was the tan Kelly, than the teal Kellyl, and finally the most recent white Birkin. I really didn't think The Hills paid that well - maybe she's renting them from that designer bag rental site... ha!
The Hills villain and villainness are reportedly trying to out do the Beckhams! Heidi Montag, who has been quoted talking about how much she loves the Beckhams style and much more, has recently been trying to Poshify her own life - wearing some of Victoria's shoes and bags to various events and now Speidi is trying to become more successful as a "celebrity" brand than the Beckhams by launching their own website called "Speidiweb." "They're great with their branding, but Speidi is going take it to another level," Heidi told Extra. "I mean, I definitely want to surpass both of them." Spencer added, "It's going be bigger than MySpace, bigger than Facebook." As if people! Sorry to burst your bubble their Speidi but you don't even come close to the Beckhams! You don't even deserve to be in the same room!
And we thought the world was safe from them after Chanelle Hayes made a complete fool of herself by imitating absolutely everything Victoria Beckham did and wore, here comes Heidi Montag in her Posh Wannabe get up. During her recent visit to NYC with boyfriend Spencer, Heidi was sporting an almost exact same outfit as the one VB had on at the park with her boys. Everything from the yellow jeans, black jacket, and black top was nearly identical to what was woren by our resident style star. Victoria won this for me tho because she wore large flare dVb jeans(her newest trend), black heels (not like Montag's silver ones), and matching yellow dVb sunglasses. Heidi has been quoted speaking about her love of VB's style and how her and boyfriend Spencer emulate their relationship on that of the Beckhams. Sorry to bust your bubble there Heidi but you are no Victoria and Spencer is defintely NO David!
The Hills resident villianness Heidi Montag's new clothing line, Heidiwoodhas completely sold out at Kitson. As we all know, Victoria has been facing challenges regarding Kitson and personal appearances so this is a small set back for her. Unlike dVb jeans which run from $200, Heidi's collection is very affordable with denim ranging from $40. I really think that Victoria has a much larger fan base than Heidi Montag but I do think her prices, not her appearances, hurt her denim range. A lot of her fans range from teens to mid 20 year olds who may not be able to spend $200 on 1 pair of jeans. I love her but I do wish she was a lil less expensive. I do think her sunglasses are adequately priced tho selling at $250 rather than in the upper $300 range.
