David Beckham Accepts his Lifetime Achievement Award & Victoria Gets Emotional

Becks to Receive the BBC Sports Personality Lifetime Achievement Award Tonight!
Former England captain David Beckham is to receive the BBC Sports Personality Lifetime Achievement award on Sunday.
The 35-year-old midfielder is England's most capped outfield player and won six Premier League titles and the Champions League crown with Manchester United.
He won the Spanish league with Real Madrid after a £25m move from United before joining Los Angeles Galaxy and also spent two loan spells at AC Milan.
In 2001 Beckham was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
The lifetime honour is one of several awards which will be presented during the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show from 1900 GMT on Sunday.
"David's record on and off the pitch has been remarkable," BBC Sports Personality of the Year editor Carl Doran said.
"It's a fitting reward for an outstanding career as a player and for his tireless work as an ambassador for British sport. He has also been a tremendous role model and I'm sure he'll get an amazing reaction from the public in Birmingham."
Nine years ago Beckham won the main award, voted for by the public, after an outstanding display for England against Greece in which his late free-kick earned the national side a place in the 2002 World Cup finals.
His England career began in September 1996 against Moldova with his latest, and 115th, cap coming against Belarus in October 2009. He also captained England 59 times in that period.
Having appeared and scored in the previous three World Cups, Beckham was expected to be selected for the tournament in South Africa in 2010.
But the player, who hails from east London, tore his Achilles tendon while on loan from LA Galaxy at AC Milan in March, and was ruled out of what would have been his fourth World Cup.
His celebrated England career owes a lot to the 10 years he spent at Old Trafford under the guidance of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who won the first BBC lifetime award in 2001.
Having been part of United's venerated FA Youth Cup-winning side of 1992, Beckham went on to lift nine major trophies with the club.
One of his most memorable years was in 1999, when he helped United win the Treble. His corners led to the two late strikes which allowed the Red Devils to fight back from a goal down to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in a dramatic Champions League final at Barcelona's Nou Camp.
It was also the year that the midfielder married former Spice Girl Victoria Adams, and the couple have three sons.
Beckham moved on to Real in 2003, where he played alongside the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Raul and Roberto Carlos.
During his final season, 2006-2007, he won his only league title with the Madrid side, pipping Barcelona to the crown on the final day of the season.
A move to Major League Soccer in the United States with LA Galaxy followed and also two loan periods at Italian giants AC Milan.
Beckham lives in Los Angeles with his family but regularly returns to Britain and was a key member of the England 2018 World Cup bid, which lost out to Russia in the vote earlier in December.

David & Brooklyn Attend 'A Night Of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards'
Well this is a first! Usually the Beckhams do not take their children onto red carpets for events (not even the Teen Choice Awards), but today, David and his eldest son, Brooklyn, attended 'A Night Of Heroes: The Sun Military Awards' together in London at the Imperial War Museum. The event honors bravery within the armed forces.
The duo looked very adorable in suits but I still am not loving David's newest hairstyle. It was great to see them out together though, and for such a great event. Wish Victoria would've went! It's been quite a while since we've seen her last.

David Wins at the Teen Choice Awards
For the past few years, David Beckham has been nominated for Choice Male Athlete at the Teen Choice awards and he usually brings home the surfboard trophy. This continued last night in LA when he accepted the award once again.
To support him were his three sons who accompanied him onstage to accept his award. Unfortunately, there was no breakdancing from Cruz.
After all was said and done, David kicked a soccer ball into the audience.

David's Nominated for Another Teen Choice Award
David has been nominated and won this award two years in a row. He was unable to attend the awards ceremony last year, but if you recall, the entire Beckham bunch went in 2008 - he even brought the boys onstage to accept his award.
The awards will be broadcasted on August 8th. I would love the see them all there again! Fingers crossed!

Will Victoria Attend the CFDA Awards?
This coming Monday are the CFDA Awards and was wondering if you all think that Victoria will attend. If you recall, she did not attend the event last year and this year she did not go to the Costume Gala either. The last time she was at the CFDA Awards was back in 2008 when she went with her designer BFF Marc Jacobs and looked amazing wearing one of his "heart felt" designs.
I really hope she goes. I was very disappointed that she didn't make an appearance at this years Costume Gala so it would make me happy if she went to the CFDAs.
What do you all think? Will she go?
VBS is Honored to Receive it's 4th Award!
I wanted to say a huge thank you to Hermine from The Girl in a Cashmere Daze for honoring Victoria Beckham Style with it's fourth award! I promise I will be back to my blogging best in May when I'm finally done with my college career! Can not wait till then!
The Award Rules Are:

- Pass it on to 12 bloggers that inspire you
- Link them to let them know
Although I love so many sites and blogs, I can only choose 12 so here goes...

Victoria at the 2009 British Fashion Awards
Last night, Victoria Beckham walked the red carpet for the 2009 British Fashion Awards held at the Royal Courts of Justice. She wore one of her spring 2010 floor length black gowns that reminded me very much of the dress she wore to Elton John's Oscar party.
I have to admit, she looked great - love the hair and make up, but I was a bit dissapointed at the choice of dress because it felt like it had already been worn.

Victoria Beckham Style is Honored with it's 3rd Award!
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Nuheila for kindly awarding Victoria Beckham Style with it's third award! It really means a lot to me! Nuheila wasn't much of a fan of Victoria's until she started reading my blog so I'm very happy that she is now a fan!"In this post, I want to hand out the “Better than ice cream” award to the 3 blogs that for whatever reasons has caught my attention lately. Someone who’s blog is inspiring me, someone who has done an exceptional job with their blog or just made me think differently about something…The whole point of the “Better than ice cream” award is for the bloggers who receive it to then pay it forward to the 3 bloggers who have had that same impact on them. It can even be to the blogger giving it to you, as long as you also give to 2 other bloggers to keep it moving forward! If you receive this award more than once, just headline it the number of times. (The italic text is to be included in the blog post when passing this on so it keeps moving.)"
There are sooo many wonderful blogs I love out there but here are the three blogs I chose:
1) GlamBeckhams: This is another fabulous site that is dedicated to the Beckhams. Ahnny and the rest of the crew do a great job keeping fans up to date!
2) The Shoe Girl: I was always a huge shoe girl myself but Celine has a collection that most people would kill for!
3) Red Carpet Fashion Awards: Fashion Critic is always on top of her game bringing fans the latest news on celebrity fashion!
A big thanks again to Nuheila! This was very sweet of you!

David Beckham up For Another Teen Choice Award
David attended the awards last year with his wife and sons and proudly walked away with the Choice Male Athlete surf board. He brought the boys up on stage to accept it with him. Cruz even showed off his break dancing skills.
Victoria Beckham Style is Honored with its Second Award
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Karolina from Me, Myself, & I for kindly awarding Victoria Beckham Style with its second award! This is a huge honor for me and I am extremely thrilled to have been given it. I work extremely hard on this site and it is very nice to see that it is appreciated - both with awards like these and all of your extremely kind comments and emails! She also said that this site was a source of inspiration for her to start her own blog - that nearly brought a tear to my eye!Thank you so so much! I really appreciate it!
Victoria Beckham Honored in Germany's InStyle Magazine
This above text excerpt was the mention in the magzine thanks so much to aguycalledchris for the translation!"The VIPer went to ... the style icon of the year: Victoria Beckham! It is THE award from InStyle for stars, who not only influence the fashion industry but also inspire women like us. After Mischa Barton, winner of the first VIPer award, actress Jessica Schwarz (a german style icon) and Peaches Geldof, who received the award as a newcomer, Victoria Beckham is presented with this years award, not only for her career as a singer (Spice Girls), Designer (Rock and Republic, DVB Style), Writer (Learning to Fly, That Extra Half an Inch) and her fragrance "Signature". She is a muse for Designers and Fashionistas - a topic that could fill an entire issue of InStyle. When it comes to Victoria Beckham a lot of things come in mind, she is the mother of three boys and has created a brand with her name, which is facinating and surprising. In 2008 she posed naked for a skin cancer campaign. Her dear friend Marc Jacobs designed a T-Shirt with her picture which was then marketed for a good cause."
The Beckhams Nominated for 3 Bravo A List Awards
David and Victoria Beckham have been nominated for three Bravo A List awards. David has been nominated for two, which include A-List Male Style and A-List Abs, and Victoria for one, A-List Celebrity Designer. Both of the Beckhams are up against some heavy hitters! You can see the full list here and catch the awards Wednesday, April 15th @ 10/9c.
And the Award Goes To...
David Beckham won Best Dressed Man and beat the likes of Mark Ronson, who came in at #2, and Ed Westwick at #3. David also beat Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp who were shockingly lower down the list. This is not the first time he has won this award and I'm sure it won't be the last.
Girls Aloud songstress and WAG Cheryl Cole won Best Dressed Female but it was the Beckhams who took home the honor of Best Dressed Couple. They beat Brangelina and Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. You just can’t compete with them! Congrats!
