Rumor of the Day: The Beckhams to Exchange Custom Gifts

It has been so incredibly slow in Beckhamland lately that the media is now speculating on what they are going to give each other for Christmas. Here is a really interesting rumor story from Digital Spy:

David and Victoria Beckham are to exchange expensive customised gifts for Christmas, according to the Daily Star. The pair are said to have picked out luxury items during a shopping visit to Harrods. David has reportedly requested gold-plated headphones worth £1,500, while Victoria is thought to have asked for an £800 white crystal iPad cover.

A source said: "David and Victoria like to do things in style so these presents are perfect for them. They already have everything money can buy so wanted to indulge in something a bit different this Christmas." The married couple have also apparently ordered Dr. Dre headphones with black haematite crystals for their three sons - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - from the CrystalRoc range.

What to Do For Mum For Mother's Day

Mother’s day is here!


Whether we are a kid or an adult we can do something a little extra to show our Moms and Grandmas how much we love her on this special day.

Here’s what I think we could do:

(1) Hug and a Kiss the moment you see her

(2) Taking over Mum’s chores for a day – the dishes, the cleaning, the laundry

(3) Take Mum out to her favourite place or restaurant

(4)  Give mum a gift

(5)  Have a picnic

(6) Watch a movie together

(7) Cook for Mum – I think this is best because it will come from the heart and we don’t need complicated or difficult dishes. Some simple ones to bring a smile to mum

Breakfast in Bed

(i) Yoghurt decorated with strawberries and little umbrellas

(ii) Pancakes or waffles with bananas and apples

(iii) Don’t forget your rose

Brunch

It can be anything that Mum fancies – noodles, pizza, salads

Dinner

Bake a chocolate cake or a simple butter cake

Roast a chicken – spread some pepper, salt, olive oil, spices and anything else you like. Prepare some salad and some corn or potatoes.

Finish off with ice cream or chocolate.

Victoria's 35th Birthday Present from David

David Beckham definitely knows how to spoil a girl! For Victoria's recent birthday, David surprised her with a lovely new Hermes Birkin bag. Victoria is known to have an astonishingly large Hermes collection and it keeps on growing! the new bag is a lovely pale blue shade called "ciel". Victoria does have another blue Birkin but that is more of a sky blue color - this is very light. Stunning!!

Money Bags

The UK's Daily Mail has published a piece today that comments on Victoria's very beautiful and extremely exclusive $140,000 Hermes Himalayan Birkin. This is officially my favorite of all her handbags! I love it so much! This bag is now definitely a contender, if not the winner, of the next VB Style Awards for 'Favorite Handbag'!!

Victoria's New Obsession - Nintendo Wii

Apparently Victoria Beckham received a Nintendo Wii from hubby David for Christmas and has taken an extreme liking to it. The svelte star is now using Wii's Boogie Superstar game to burn off calories and stay in shape. And a source close to the Beckhams says, "Victoria loves the game - she can play it with the kids and still work off calories. But I hope she doesn't get too skinny again."

The Wii has become extremely popular over here and the Wii Fit is at the top of the list. What a fun way to stay in shape! Beats running on the treadmill - like she was before.

Heidi's Sweet Gift for Posh

As we all know, Victoria has had a fabulous few birthday parties when she celebrated turning 34. I'm sure she received many beautiful gifts but the one she received from her pal and Project Runway co-host Heidi Klum was definitely the sweetest. Heidi has gifted Victoria with a years supply of Sprinkles cupcakes. The cupcakes will be delivered in a new flavor every Friday. The gift will ultimately cost the supermodel mom $2,000. The question is, will VB eat any of them? If you remember her interview with Barbara Walters, VB confessed that she wouldn't even eat a cookie.
