The Beckhams Launch a Summer Fragrance

David and Victoria Beckham will launch a new duo of limited-edition fragrances from March 2011 called Signature Summer for Him and Her, expanding the Signature franchise.

"With Signature Summer we wanted to create two summer scents that reflect us as individuals and as a couple," said David Beckham. "The fragrance for men is very modern and masculine and therefore forms a nice contrast to the women's fragrance."

Victoria Beckham added: "Summer Signature For Him and For Her have become our very own summer scents - a blend of modern elegance and everyday Glamour This fascinating scents are perfect for the entire summer, both day and night."

Signature Summer for Him was composed by perfumer Frank Voelkl of Firmenich.
- Top Notes: tangerine, pomelo, violet leaves; Middle Notes: Lotus, saffron, orris root; Base Notes: Musk, Patchouli, Amber Gray

Signature Summer for Her was created by perfumer Louise Turner of Givaudan.
- Top Notes: water lily, freesia, violet; Middle notes are jasmine, Madonna lily, frangipani; Base Notes: Vanilla Cream, vetiver, musk.

A Sneak Peak at the Ad for Intimately Yours

Here is a sneak peak at the advertisement photo for the newest Beckham fragrance, Intimately Yours. As you can tell, the picture is awfully small but you can clearly see that they are mixing masculinity and femininty with the new scents just by looking at the outfits the duo have on - both are in chic suits. Intimately Yours is "designed to capture the essence of David and Victoria Beckham’s passion and the power of their relationship". Can't wait to see this in a larger size!

Intimately Beckham Yours for him is “an elegant and sexy Oriental Citrus Aromatic” with notes of blood mandarin, frozen lemon, crushed leaves, sage, lavender, frozen basil, tonka bean, sandalwood and vetiver.

Intimately Beckham Yours for her is a “radiant, warm and captivating” floriental with freesia, bergamot, pear leaves, orange blossom, frangipani, lily, orris, sandalwood and vetiver.

Itimately Yours Bottles

Here are the new bottles for the Beckhams' latest purfume, Intimately Yours. They have kept the same shape as the original Intimately fragrance (and the Night bottle) but they have changed the colors of the perfume and the hardware to gold and silver.

Intimately Yours for her is gold and for him is silver. They will be available here in August.

Signature Story Available at Macys.com

The Beckham's newest fragrance, Signature Story, is finally available on the official Macy's website but there is a catch. As of right now, the women's fragrance is the only one issued.. although they do have Signature for men.

The Story Behind Signature Story

Many of you sent me emails asking me whether or not I knew what the words were on the back of the Signature Story fragrance bottles. I actually just went on the Beckham Fragrances website (which I hadn't been on in quite some time) and they feature the quote in the "Extra" page.

The quote reads:

"In that book which is My memory... On the first page, that is the chapter when I first met you, appear the words... Here begins a new life."

This beautiful phrase is from the love story La Vita Nuova ("The New Life"), which is a book of verse written around 1293 by Dante Alighieri.

Beckhams to Introduce Signature Story in September

Get ready everybody! The Beckhams are set to launch a brand new fragrance, Singature Story in September! The new perfume and cologne is going to be launched under their new master brand, Beckham Signature.

Signature Story For Her- A floral chypre by perfumer Nathalie Lorson, with peach, bitter orange, kumquat, rose, white peony, orange blossom, musk, patchouli and moss. Signature Story for Her will be available in 15 and 30 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products

Signature Story For Him- A woody aromatic by perfumer Beatric Piquest; the notes include basil, violet leaves, pineapple, orange flower, rosemary, lavender, cedarwood, incense and patchouli. Signature Story for Him will be available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products.

"Inspired by their love of all things vintage, Signature Story conveys the modern day love story of David and Victoria Beckham…played out in old Hollywood style. Open the secret seal and discover their signature story inside."

The bottles and the packaging are absolutely lovely! Can't wait to see what they smell like! I adore Beckham Signature for both men and women. I wear the womens perfume all the time and my boyfriend loves the men's cologne. Hopefully these smell just as wonderful!

New dVb Aftershave - Pure Instinct

Beckham fragrances is launching a new aftershave called Pure Instinct. It is a limited edition of the Instinct collection. The fragrance is a mix of spices and aromatics. This is the official photo - love! I think anything would sell with that face next to it! The bottle is very masculine yet elegant at the same time. I'm sure this will be a huge seller for the brand.

My 2nd Beckham Christmas Gift

God Bless my Aunt Terry who is the greatest thing ever! She gave me and autographed bottle of Signature for Her signed by Victoria from their launch at Macy's in New York. A close friend and employee of her's went to the event specifically for David and wound up with both bottles and both autographs. Since my aunt new how upset I was because I couldn't make it to the signing (I was out of town), she bought the Victoria bottle from her friend for me for Christmas. She didn't even bother buying David's since I was extremely surprised a few weeks before Christmas when an autographed personalized calendar showed up on my doorstep. Her fiend has photos from the event but needs to develop them - then she's going to give them to me (she emailed me the ones from her cell phone but they are really tiny). The perfume came in a beautiful box that featured both on the back. Thanks Aunt Terry!

*I'm in the process of framing David's calendar and I am going to create a shadow box for this bottle! I also received a bottle to use since this one is going in a frame lol- it really smells beautiful!

Here is a much better video of the Beckhams at their signature launch at Macy's last week. It shows them getting out of the car, posing for pictures, and both Victoria and David speaking inside Macy's. I'm still looking for more so I'll post them as I find them.

I've been searching and searching for a video from Friday's Signature launch at Macy's but I haven't really had much luck... at all! However, I did find a fan video from www.youtube.com that captured the Beckhams inside Macy's as they get into their elevator.

That's the best I can do for right now but trust me, I'm still looking! Keep your eyes peeled and check back!

The Signature Signing

Here are some pictures I've found of the Beckhams inside Macy's at their autograph table signing the Signature for Her and for Him bottles. They looked very relaxed and at ease. They even stood to greet a handicapped fellow - how sweet! I'll add more as I find them.
