Victoria and the boys were on hand at The Home Depot Center yesterday to watch David and the Galaxy play against the Revolution which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Pregnant Posh looked like she was basking in that lovely pregnancy glow and looked radiant! The boys also looked adorable as they muched on LA Galaxy logo embossed snacks.
As much as I adore him, I sometimes have to wonder what the hell he is thinking when it comes to his hairstyles. Yes, I know he enjoys changing it up and setting new trends but this long style is not my favorite on him.
At the friendly between LA and Club Tijuana on March 3rd, he sported almost a comb-over type style that bounced as he ran. Did you guys love it or hate it?
The LA Galaxy has finally announced their schedule for the 2011 MLS regular season. The club will play 34 games, 17 at home and 17 on the road, in 2011, starting with their season opener against the Seattle Sounders FC in MLS First Kick 2011, presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods, at Qwest Field on Tuesday, March 15. The Galaxy will play two games, one home and one away, against each of the other 17 teams in MLS this season.
The Galaxy will play their home opener on Sunday, March 20 against the New England Revolution at 5 p.m. (PT), live on Galavision from The Home Depot Center.
Of the Galaxy’s 34 games in 2011, 11 will be aired by the league’s national broadcast partners, ABC/ESPN and the Univision family of networks. ESPN and ESPN Deportes are scheduled to air six Galaxy games in 2011, including both games against Chivas USA (May 21 and Oct. 6), New York Red Bulls (May 7 and Aug. 28) and Seattle Sounders (Mar. 15 and July 4).
I already have my eyes and heart set on the Red Bulls game on August 28th!

Looks like things are ok between David Beckham and England manager Fabio Capello. The duo sat side by side and chatted prior to kickoff during the Barclays Premier League match between the Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United at White Hart Lane yesterday.
Becks was in the VIP seats at Old Trafford along with best friends Gary Neville and football agent David Gardner - along with 23 Chileans miners - for the Red Devils' clash with Arsenal.
Sir Bobby had invited the Chileans to be his guests at old Trafford following their two-month ordeal trapped underground following a rock fall in August.
The group were also presented with United shirts with their names on the back, plus the number reflecting when they were lifted out of the mine during the rescue in October.
Omar Reygadas, a 56-year-old bulldozer operator, said: 'It’s an honour to be at Old Trafford. It’s the "Theatre of Dreams" and we have only seen it on television.'
During the game, LA Galaxy player David also appeared to be attempting a retro style vibe with his facial fuzz and hairstyle, with a Seventies-style beard and a centre parting hairdo similar to the one he sported in 1997. source: DailyMail
Despite a good effort, the Galaxy lost to the Newcastle Jets 1-2 at the EnergyAustralia Stadium on Friday. Click here to read a match report and recap!
Have to admit... I love these two photos the most out of all of the match ones :)
The Newcastle Jets say around two-thousand tickets are left for the exhibition match against LA Galaxy, but they're confident the game will be a sell-out. The family hill and general admission area are sold out for Saturday night's game, but tickets are still available in the eastern grandstand.
David Beckham and the LA Galaxy side will arrive at Williamtown Airport on Thursday morning.
Jets Director of Membership Richard Fisk says interest in the game is growing. "When we had the problems with the ground we sort of pulled back on selling the tickets for the event and went into a bit of a lull," he said.
"Progressively we see every day ticket numbers going up and up and up as the interest and the momentum starts to push. So yes, if you want to go and see David Beckham I would get in early."
Woman's Day magazine is also reporting that Victoria will be there as well. It says Victoria is focusing all her energy on the perfect wardrobe for her "epic Australian" adventure.
Victoria almost made a trip to Melbourne last month with the Victoria Racing Club and its major sponsors involved in big-budget talks to have her here for the Victoria Derby, Melbourne Cup and Oaks Day. The deal, rumoured to be worth up to $1 million, did not go ahead, although the VRC said it was hopeful it could host Victoria next year. source: ABC News & Herald Sun
With a disappointing 3-0 loss to FC Dallas this weekend, David Beckham and the LA Galaxy have ended their hopes for winning the MLS cup this season. Beckham also received a yellow card in the 73rd minute.
He may not have been on the winning side in the match, but he once again won over his teammates and coaches. Having already overcome an Achilles injury that was originally feared to be a season-ending setback, Beckham was thrown another obstacle on Sunday as an adductor injury early on made things difficult for him against FC Dallas. “First two minutes, I just pulled my adductor,” Beckham said. “It wore off a little, but obviously had nothing to do with our loss.”
As Beckham struggled a bit to finish the first half, Galaxy coach Bruce Arena nearly substituted his star midfielder at the break.
“We saw in the very beginning of the game probably 15 minutes in, he had a problem. He hung in there and we talked to him at halftime,” said Arena. “[But] he stayed in. If we have all of our players with his kind of character and commitment, we would continue to do well.”
Not having Beckham at full speed on Sunday was nothing new for the Galaxy this season.
“He hasn’t been at full strength since he’s been back,” Galaxy captain Landon Donovan said. “When you come back that quickly at that age from an Achilles injury, there are going to be residual effects. My hat’s off to him – he played through a lot of pain those last few weeks, more than you guys know, but he’s a competitor and he wants to keep going.”
While he dealt with yet another injury, Beckham said he wanted only to make sure he gave everything he had in the match.
“As long as I’ve given 110 percent like I do every game, I’ll look at myself in the mirror and know that I’ve done that,” he said. “It’s just disappointing we’ve gone out the way we’ve gone out.” source: DM & LA Galaxy
A few days ago, Victoria tweeted this photo of the family's adorable bulldog Coco all decked out in her LA Galaxy gear. Judging by the pic, she is ready and willing for tonight's playoff match against FC Dallas.
David is ready to fight for the win too! "I think at this stage of the season you have to come out like that,” Beckham said. “You have to be ready and be ready to fight. If we’re not ready, we have a good team [FC Dallas] that will capitalize on that.”
While David was changing on the field, his lovely wife and three sons were up in the stands supporting him. The Galaxy won 2-1 and David even got himself a goal!
After the game the boys joined David on the pitch as he showered them with hugs and kisses! He then told press, "I felt the last game was my best performance but if Bruce says that, then I will take that. I'm just trying to get my match fitness back and in the last couple of games I felt really good, so I am happy that the manager thinks that about me."
David Beckham gave his fans quite a thrill during the Galaxy vs FC Dallas match on October 24th when he was spotted stripping down to his underwear. The reason? Well, yes they do have lockerrooms but David was was forced to change his shorts after he cut himself and got blood on his uniform.
We hope you are ok Becks but we certainly did not mind the show! source: Celeb-Gossip
By now we all know that the entire Beckham bunch loves personalized/monogramed items - everything from soccer cleats, car accessories, and even Hermes bags have been eteched with their famous names and or initials.
For example, at the Galaxy vs Colorado Rapids game, the youngest boys, Romeo and Cruz, both wore personalized hats with their names on them. Romeo's simply said his name whereas Cruz's said "Cruz-Control" which I think is adorable!
Also in the stands was mom Victoria. The entire family was there to lend their support but unfortunately the Galaxy was defeated by the Rapids with a final score of 3-1.
David Beckham scored his first goal in over a year to help lift the Los Angeles Galaxy to a 2-1 win over Chivas USA.
Los Angeles were leading 1-0 when Beckham scored in the 39th minute with a 26-yard free kick into the top-right corner of the net. It was Beckham's first goal of the season and his first since Sept 9, 2009, against Toronto.
"I knew as soon as I hit it, it was in," Beckham said. "Even though they've got a very good 'keeper, I think he expected me to put the ball over the other side, so he was cheating to the right."
Galaxy coach Bruce Arena was relieved to see the highest-paid player in the league finally score. "Where Beckham hit that spot to the goalkeeper's left is the spot to put that ball," Arena said. "The goalkeeper was definitely not able to see the ball there. We said on the bench, 'If he beats the goalkeeper to the left, it's going to be a goal."'
Beckham was making just his second start and fourth appearance of the season after missing six months because of a torn left Achilles' tendon. He left the game in the 64th minute to be replaced by Eddie Lewis.
"My fitness is good and my confidence is good," Beckham said. "We've got another game on Thursday, which is one of the reasons I came off."
On Friday, September 24th, the Galaxy took on the NY Red Bulls at the Home Depot Center. Unfortunately, the home team lost with a final score of 2-0.
Here are a few quotes from David after the match...
On playing ninety minutes: “I discussed with Bruce [Arena] during the week that I could play 65 -70 [minutes]. I felt pretty good. There were some stages where I felt tired and I felt my lungs a little bit. We had a few players pull up due to injuries so I had to stay on in the end but it was good to get 90.”
On the team’s struggles offensively: “Usually the first half sets the tone for the game. The first half wasn’t good for us. We didn’t start well and we didn’t pressure well. They kept the ball and we didn’t press them. When you start games like that it is tough going on from that.”
On the loss: “We are disappointed with the loss. We don’t want to lose any games here. We were disappointed with our first half performance more than anything. In the second half we came out fighting a little bit more but first half was how we lost the game.”
On the young back four: “We know the back four could play. It doesn’t matter how young they are or how inexperienced they are. They are good players. There were just a few mistakes tonight. In the first half we didn’t play like we should play especially when we are at home. We should be in control of the game when we are at home and we weren’t.”
On the hype surrounding the game: “Obviously there was a bit more hype and buzz around this game because it was New York and the rivalry. With the players that they brought, [Rafa] Marquez and Thierry [Henry], who did not play tonight, there was more hype around the game and a full stadium. There was a certain buzz around leading up to it but once you start the game it like any other game.”
