English champion David Beckham will remain with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2008. David has shown great professionalism since 20 December, when he arrived in Italy.

Finally it's official: David Beckham will continue his career as a Rossonero until 30 June 2009. The announce was made yesterday afternoon just before the Rossoneri's home match against Atalanta through the following official note: 'A.C. Milan communicate that the footballer David Beckham will remain a Rossonero until 30 June 2009.'

The dream became a reality for the numerous Rossoneri hearts who had hoped since the day the English champion landed at Malpensa airport along with his wife Victoria to see him wear the Milan shirt beyond 9 March 2009, the date the agreement between Los Angeles Galaxy and the Via Turati club expired. A dream that became reality also for Beckham himself, who said: "A dream that becomes reality. I am grateful to both clubs to have made this dream become a reality."

Almost three months have passed since his presentation press conference at San Siro. On 21 January he made his first steps on the Rossoneri's home ground just before the kick-off of Milan-Udinese, during which the crowd immediately acclaimed him

On 29 December David left with his team mates for the Dubai winter training ground, where he immediately showed what a great person he is both on a human and professional level. He worked hard during each training, showing what a great footballer he is, he immediately inserted himself in the group, also winning the esteem and affection of his team mates.

From 6 January to today, in sixty days, Beckham has played 16 matches in total: 15 with the Rossoneri shirt number 32 of which 11 official, 4 friendlies, and one with the English national team. One match every four days, in which David David gave the demostration of his great qualities as a footballer. To the Milan fans he gave two goals, one more beautiful than the other, and many assists to his team mates... and all in less than three months.

Who knows what surprises could lie ahead between now and 30 June 2009. For now David is happy to be still a part of the Milan family and has very clear ideas: "I have remained to help the team to qualify for the next Champions League, Milan belong to the Champions League and I hope to take part in it as well."
