The Beckham's Ad Campaign Photos Debut on the Newly Designed Emporio Armani Site
Emporio Armani has launched a new design on their women's underwear site that includes the stunning photos of Victoria and an official note from the brand:
"Giorgio Armani is pleased to unveil the first image of Victoria Beckham appearing as the official worldwide testimonial for Emporio Armani Women's Underwear, oinciding with Spring Summer 2009 advertising campaign.
The first advertising campaign featuring Victoria Beckham was shot on location in Los Angeles by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Giorgio Armani said, ''I chose Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani Women's Underwear campaign because she is a stylish and intriguing woman. Great underwear is alluring and provocative, and so I wanted to work with someone who would make a real impression. I'm sure Victoria's presence will generate great excitement and contribute to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani Women's Underwear business.''
Victoria Beckham said, ''It's an honour to have been selected by Mr. Armani to represent the Emporio Armani Underwear brand and to execute his vision with the incredibly talented team of Mert & Marcus.''
The Spring Summer 2009 collection comprises a basic replenishment line and a seasonal fashion line. The fashion line is the outcome of an exhaustive, ongoing research and development programme, focused on shape and wearability, and aimed at maximising the comfort of every item. The collection features the timeless lingerie palette of periwinkle blue, green and pink, and the classic materials like microfiber, tulle and lace. "On June 18th,2008, David Beckham unveiled a giant mural featuring an image from the new Emporio Armani Underwear advertising campaign for Autumn/Winter 2008-09, at Macy’s in San Francisco.
The mural overlooks an outdoor amphitheatre adjacent to Macy’s with seating for 6.000 spectators, where David Beckham personally met hundreds of Emporio Armani Underwear customers.
The new advertising campaign was shot on Malibu beach in California, once again by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and will appear in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome , Paris and Tokyo.
