The team wasted no time getting to work preparing for the match tomorrow. David and the rest of his teammates completed a rigorious training session this afternoon. While the team was busy training, possibilities concerning Beckham's fate with AC Milan were still on everybody's minds. Galliani said: "Friday could be the crucial day. Between our offer and their (the Galaxy's) request there is still a margin but the will of the player is to remain. We are negotiating and trying to resolve the problem. We will have to wait and see how this situation develops - there is still time." According to the Times, Milan officials will fly out to LA this week to close the deal despite failing to make an acceptable bid by Galaxy's original deadline which was last Friday. The Galaxy has not changed their stance on the matter and say they still stand by the statement of head coach, Bruce Arena: "Today's deadline imposed by Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber regarding a resolution of David Beckham's potential transfer to AC Milan has passed and we did not receive an acceptable offer for the player. As a result, David remains an LA Galaxy player and we look forward to having him back with the club starting March 9."
