Spice Tour Costume Auction!!
For those of you die hard Posh Spice fans that have some extra money lying around, Victoria is auctioning off all six of the Cavalli costumes she wore during the Return of the Spice Girls Tour. The costumes will be auctioned to raise money for the Victoria and David Beckham Children's Charity that is managed by her mother Jackie. She is hoping to raise over $1,000,000 for the charity. Victoria has said, "I love all the outfits - for the memories they hold and for how beautiful they are. But there has been a lot of interest in them and I want to harness that for the charity." The costumes consist of the gold corset and leggings that was used to open the show (this was David's favorite outfit!), a sexy revamp of a man's tuxedo, a lace mini dress she wore as she pranced down the runway, the clam shell corset she wore performing Viva Forever (the elbow length gloves were her favourite accessory), her "diamond dress" which is studded with thousands of Swarovski crystals (also the most valuable and VB's personal favorite - and mine!), and finally the jade cocktail dress with Cavalli tulip hips she wore during the shows finale. Each costume is eastimated at over $25,000 a piece where as the "diamond dress" is worth over $100,000! The costumes are to be flown from LA to the storage unit near London where Victoria keeps all her memorabilia.
