"It took Victoria Beckham less than three years to convince the world that she wasn’t just some flash-in-the-pan celebrity designer. Now she’s taking on autos: On Thursday Beckham was named creative design executive at Range Rover, starting with the special edition Range Rover Evoque model. “Victoria understands luxury products. She is a Range Rover fan and has been a Range Rover owner for many years,” said Land Rover and Range Rover design director Gerry McGovern."

Victoria Expands Brand Beckham to Car Interiors

Looking drop dead gorgeous in a dress from her fall 2010 collection, Victoria Beckham was on hand at the 40th anniversary party for Range Rover in Kensigton last night where she helped the luxury brand launch it's "baby" - the Evoque, and tell the world that she has been asked to design the car's interior.

We all know that the Beckhams adore the luxury brand (Victoria is currently driving a blank Range Rover Sport), and she seemed thrilled to be collaborating with them: "I am incredibly excited to be collaborating with Range Rover. I like to take on a challenge and I'm ready for it!"

On sale from summer 2011 and priced from £30,000 to around £45,000, the Evoque will be the 'greenest' Range Rover so far produced.

You know the Beckhams will be the first people in LA with one of these bad boys! I can't wait to see what she comes up with! This is definitely a whole different ball game from designer dresses and sunglasses! So excited!
