Another Milan victory yesterday ensured the title race is still alive and promises to go to the wire.

The first came in the 30th when he volleyed in Massimo Ambrosini's cross and his second followed in 41st when Ronaldinho chipped over the defence for him to round Andrea Consigli and score. Worryingly for Milan, Pato was later substituted with a leg injury.
Valdes brought Atalanta back into the match with a long range shot, but Borriello made it 3-1 when he was first to the rebound after Consigli had blocked a penalty from Ronaldinho.
David was delighted with AC Milan's victory over Atalanta and said "We won, it was important to get the three points. And everything is going well because we continue to create pressure for Inter."
