Each and every year, People magazine creates a "Best of the Year" list that includes just about every aspect and detail that happened during the recent year. This year, Victoria Beckham has been named "Celebrity Designer of the Year - 2009" by the magazine: The former Spice Girl found a successful second career in 2009 – outfitting stars like Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Blake Lively and more in her collection of body-hugging sheath dresses.
I believe the title is well deserved as she has proven herself time and time again. 2009 was a fantastic year for the Victoria Beckham Collection. We saw her dresses at upscale and red carpet events and even on television shows like Gossip Girl and Entourage. Her sleek, chic, and sophisticated designs have been worn by variety of different celebrities which includes super models Heidi Klum and Elle Macpherson, singers Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, and Madonna, actresses Blake Lively and Brooke Shields, and TV personalities Kelly Ripa and Danni Minogue - just to name a few.
