The Galaxy played against Chivas USA during Game 1 of the MLS Western Conference Semifinals match at The Home Depot Center on Sunday and the match ended in a tie 2-2. The game was an intense affair in which Chivas took the lead just four minutes into the match, then fell behind 2-1 by halftime and tied it five minutes into the second half. "The fact when we were 1-nil down we came back, we showed character," Beckham said. "The first half we started really bad and they scored. Then we came back and regained our composure. The second half we did the same thing and they got back in the game. We'll look at that, work on that this week and hopefully get it right." They play against Chivas again this coming Sunday.
