Time to pout now ladies.... David Beckham has decided not to renew his contract with Emporio Armani :( Instead, another soccer star will be taking his place. Cristiano Ronaldo has signed on to be the official worldwide spokesmodel for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear and Armani Jeans starting from Spring/Summer 2010. David has been the spokesmodel since January 2008 and the brand's sales more than doubled last year to over $30 million.
I know, I know.. nobody can replace Becks but here is a bit of good news. David and his representatives are said to be in talks with several companies about developing a Beckham-branded men's underwear line, according to industry sources. The names of the companies could not be learned but the line would be launched for fall 2010.
