Hi everybody,Well, we completed the SuperClasico with a win, which is a great feeling as we not only won the local derby against Chivas USA, but the victory also keeps us right up there in the hunt for a playoff place. We slipped up a few weeks ago against the Seattle Sounders, but the great thing about the team at the moment is that we can put results like that behind us quickly and get back to winning ways in the following game, which stands us in great stead in the run in.
Saturday’s match was also good for me personally as I scored my first MLS goal of the season. It’s always great to score, of course, but to get a winning goal in such an important game was a fantastic feeling.I'm with the England squad now for the games against Slovenia and Croatia. The first one is a friendly match on Saturday, but if we win our World Cup qualifying match against Croatia at Wembley next Wednesday, we'll qualify for next year's World Cup in South Africa, so we've a very important match coming up.
