Last night was the end of the Galaxy's recent winning streak as they lost to Seattle Sounders 0-2. This was David's first game back since returning from his trip to Europe last week and unfortunately, he was given a red card after a hard tackle on Seattle's #8, Peter Vagenas, in the first half. Beckham said he went into the tackle without malicious intent. "Pete is one of my best friends," said David. "I think it's a hard tackle but not with means for a red card. I've never gone in one tackle wanting to hurt someone. The referee saw it differently." This was David's first red card in his MLS career and he will now miss Wednesday night’s game in Chicago through suspension.
