Hi Everyone,Well, it was a fantastic experience to play against Barcelona at the Rose Bowl in front of over 90,000 people. Although the final score wasn’t what we’d have liked I thought we played well against Barca and, obviously, I was delighted to score. I always try and work hard for the team, the manager and the fans, so I hope my goal and the team’s performance was enjoyed by them.
I was incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Sir Bobby Robson. Sir Bobby was always there for me with advice and he was a true gentleman. He will be truly missed not just by all the Geordies but by every person that has been touched by his magic. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
