"VICTORIA BECKHAM was delighted to be asked to model underwear for Italian fashion house ARMANI - so she could show off her newly-toned body. The former Spice Girl will debut as the "worldwide testimonial" for Emporio Armani Women's underwear in the Spring/Summer 2009 campaign, with shots that were taken last month (Oct08). And the mother-of-three worked extra-hard to get her figure perfect for the shoot. She says, "I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day." And this morning I got on the treadmill and said, 'OK then - this is my last chance!'" Beckham featured in Marc Jacobs' campaign earlier this year (08) - and felt honoured to take part in another international fashion shoot. She adds, "It’s a huge compliment being asked to be in the campaign and to be part of the worldwide campaign for Emporio Armani underwear."It’s really exciting to me. Mr. Armani is a lovely person and his team is fantastic, so it’s a really exciting project for me to be involved with.
