Victoria Beckham has dropped her lawsuit against the trendy fashion label Rock & Republic. The lawsuit was issued due to the fact that R&R owes Mrs. Beckham over $100 million in lost wages. The Spice Girl signed a deal with R&R in early 2004 to make her own dVb jeans for the brand but in '06, a fall out with the owner, Michael Ball, lead to her leaving the brand. Mrs. Beckham filed a suit against R&R in London's High Court earlier this year. Her $2.2 million claim was due to be heard by a judge next month but she has now decided to "abandon" the case. According to the Sunday Express, a discontinuation notice was filed in the High Court last week. A source close to Victoria told the publication: "Victoria had meetings with her (legal) team, who have advised her extensively on the case. She just wants to move on and focus on her own successful line of clothing and draw a line under the matter. She doesn't want to spend any more time or money on it."Source: www.contactmusic.com
