It is believed that Miss Middleton is interested in Beckham’s spring/summer dresses for formal day and evening engagements.At the showing of her unusually vibrant autumn/winter collection at New York Fashion Week yesterday, Beckham said of Prince William’s fiancée: “Apparently she likes my clothes and has asked to see a selection. It will be from my current spring/summer collection.”
The former pop singer, once known as Posh Spice, added: “It’s tremendously exciting and I would be honoured if she were to wear my designs. I admire her tremendously. She’s a beautiful young girl, and she wears clothes beautifully.”
The wife of David Beckham, who is pregnant with their fourth child, is no stranger to having famous admirers, with her fashion ranges a favourite choice among Hollywood stars.
