LA Galaxy captain, Landon Donovan, is lending his soccer skills to Everton for a loan spell after the team has suffered several injuries (that's what is being reported) and it turns out that his decision to lend a hand is being backed by his fellow LA teammate, David Beckham, who also lends his skills to AC Milan during the US off season.
"David and I we speak a lot about his time here and he is confident I will do fine," Donovan said on his arrival at Everton. "Knowing him, being around him and playing with him I can see what it takes to make it at a place like this and if you are not ready and prepared you can get passed by. That is good learning from me and I am taking these two and a half months very seriously."
I think it's interesting to see how supportive David is of his teammates whereas Landon I'm a bit skeptical of. If you recall, the LA captain was less than thrilled when David wished to extend his first loan spell with AC Milan - thus sparking a bit of a media frenzy in the US soccer world.
