This coming June, supermodel Iman will be honored for her fashion icon status at the CFDA awards. This week, in preparation for the big event, the model and her hubby, rocker David Bowie, was given a celebratory luncheon at Barney's.
To the event, Iman wore a custom Victoria Beckham fall 2010 creation that she absolutely loved and looked exquisite in (being that beautiful it would be hard to look anything less than that). Unlike many events, this one was quick and the preparation was just as fast...
"I saw this in Victoria Beckham’s collection, and I knew sample size is like 0, and I said, “I would love to wear that to my luncheon, but I’m sure I won’t be able to fit. They said, 'We’re sending somebody over to take your measurements.' In two days, it was done. That’s a girl who knows her business. She’s very good."
