Hey Everybody:Good news and bad news...
First the good....
I know that I have been extremely MIA lately and I apologize. But luckily for me, it's been very quiet in Beckhamland so it's made juggling much easier and I had time to devote completely to school work.
And the bad....
I didn't want to do this, especially not at the end of my semester (specifically since I tried to make it work throughout the entire ordeal), but I am going to have to put the blog on a brief pause until my semester ends. Right now, and for the past few weeks, I have been teaching a fifth grade class every day and every subject plus you all know that I am also taking regular courses and working my normal job as well. But, It's all finally catching up and is getting to be a bit too much for me - especially trying to fit them all in - lesson plans, making activities and worksheets, preparing for each subject and units, my job, my portfolio and teacher work sample, and the blog... Since this is my final semester in college and there are only three weeks left, I figured it would be best to devote my time entirely to focusing on completing my educational commitments successfully.
More good..
This blog means a great deal to me, as do all of you, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for being so understanding and kind throughout this entire experience. It's been very stressful and I hate to leave VBS in the dust, but right now, I feel the break is best. I have been reading comments and emails and I appreciate them all. I will try to respond whenever I can. Also, if possible, I will attempt to update on the weekends so as to not be completely stale.
The close of the semester is May 10th which is only days away. I promise, after this is all said and done, I will be back to my blogging best and updating regularly and frequently like I always have. So, for right now, I have to say a see you soon, not a goodbye, and I hope you all will be back in May!!!
