In the spring issue of Love magazine, which hits newsstands on Monday, February 8th, designer Giles Deacon interviews friend and fellow designer Victoria Beckham.On rumors of her designing a mens line:
"I think Tom Ford is doing an incredible job…but it’s not like I can’t wait to do a men’s line. I love women. I’m a real girl’s girl."
On reading her collection press reviews:
“(It was an )out-of-body experience.”
On talking with Deacon:
"I’m just happy to have someone who wants to talk to me [about this]. Normally, David’s like, ‘Stop it, I don’t want to talk about clothes anymore! I want to talk about motorbikes and tattoos."
On asking Deacon about designing his womens line:
"Do you not try your dresses on, then? I don’t know how men do it. I’m sure you must do it secretly.”
I love the photo and am so glad we finally got to see her in that amazing lace dress from her spring 2010 line; that dress is also the one she dubbs her favorite.
