David Beckham arrived in Cape Town, South Africa today and joined FA President Lord Triesman in a meeting with FIFA President Sepp Blatter and gave him a a signed Three Lions shirt for his granddaughter.He also said said he was hoping to be part of Fabio Capello's plans for the World Cup 2010 after England were announced as one of the eight seeded teams, although his place in the squad is not guaranteed. David said: "We did very well during the qualifying campaign, but there is still a lot of hard work to be done. We want to compete with the best and we have a perfect set-up with management staff, with backroom staff, with players and fans. We just have to come over here and do it in the tournament. We have definitely got the players who can do that."
