David Beckham is back in mother England right now as he trains with the national team for their upcoming matches which inlcudes the world cup qualifier. At the England press conference today, David was very vocal about being back in England, surpassing Roger Moore's 108 caps, and AC Milan.About being in England and his cap record: "Getting to the World Cup as quickly as possible is the biggest thing for us now. I'm just happy to be in the squad and hopefully be making that 109th cap. Whether it comes as a start or as a substitute, it's more important that I am here with the players and here with the squad. Every time I meet up with England it's a huge honour. Every player feels like that. To be on the amount of caps I'm on at the moment is a great honour for me."
About becoming more disciplined thanks to AC Milan: "It's the discipline of defence. That's one of the biggest things I've learnt since I have been in Milan. I'm ecstatic to be where I am at the moment, to be still in the (England) squad playing well and feeling as fit as I have for a long time."
About surpassing Roger Moore's record: "I'm not looking at that record at all at the moment. I take each game as it comes because I know how quickly it can change. AC Milan has given me the chance to play at that higher level but we'll see. Every time I meet up with the team it's a bonus."
About playing at home: "It's hard to explain. You can play at a place like Wembley and be exceptional every game, but we haven't had that. We have had the odd occasion or a first half. We need to make it our home and I don't think we have done that yet. But I think we have proved what a good team we are away from home."
