Guest stars including David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry and Frank Lampard all proved to be great sports in the forthcoming sketch for Comic Relief. In the seven-minute sketch for Comic Relief, James’s Gavin & Stacey character Smithy bumps into various members of the England squad while doing a plumbing job at their hotel. Smithy then shoots his big mouth off, telling Beckham to get a short Beck and sides and the gloves really come off when he tears into goalkeeper David James. “Becks was great and Rio was instrumental in pulling all the players together,” said James.This video is really quite funny! David is too cute - I love his little snickers!
