In tribute to the famous Roger Moore, whos recored of 108 caps was equalled by Beckham just this week, David donated his match shirt to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research in the UK.Stephanie Moore MBE, Bobby’s Widow and founder of the Bobby Moore Fund, said of Beckham equaling her late husbands record, “It is an incredible achievement. Bobby would be the first person to congratulate David, shake his hand and say 'Well done son, now go out and beat the record.'"
She also was extremely happy with Beckham's charitable gesture. "I am delighted that David has donated his shirt from the momentous game in Spain last night; it will help raise vital funds for bowel cancer research.”
