In my previous post, I introduced you to the dVb Spring/Summer '09 look book and upon my doing so, I realized that Victoria's influence as creative director seems to have stemmed from her own daily wardrobe. Most of the jeans in the photos we have seen on both Victoria and David before. For example, in this photo, the baggy boyfriend jeans take center stage. If you look closer at the photo of Victoria in the mall, you will notice the gray T-shirt, the red sunglasses, and it seems they took the belt from Victoria's own closet.
These gray oversized flare leg jeans also looked familiar. Victoria wore a very similar pair to her dVb promotion at Harrods in London. Victoria's seem to be lighter and have less of a belt loop.
I personally loved when Victoria wore these sunshine yellow jeans with matching sunglasses! These were the first colorful denim pair she wore of the season. Only Mom Beckham would be playing in the park with her sons wearing high heels underneath though!
Looks like pinks and peaches are a part of the collection as well! Victoria wore these lovely pink jeans at the airport on mother's day. I love the peach color - especially with the white tank... very summer and very LA!
Pastel blues and greens also seem to be highlights of the collection. The lime green pair Victoria wore to the Lakers game could stop traffic but VB wore them as only she could! The light blue pair is also very SoCal! Definitely something I could see on Cali Gals Nicole Richie and the girls from The Hills.
David also got in on the action displaying dVb denim for men before it hit store shelves! I really like these!
