David made his first official debut with AC Milan yesterday in a game against Roma at the Stadio Olympico that ended in a tie 2-2. As Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said: "Playing him from the start was not a gift. He worked hard in training this week and deserved his place. He played well. 'Beckham has shown in the days he has been with us that he is a tactically clever player, serious and well-balanced."
David was a star in the midfield and played very well! David said: "I go back to America on March 8. I didn’t expect to start and I only foundout in a team meeting before the game. I enjoyed it, it was great to play with great players. I felt good in the game, very strong and I enjoyed it. My aim is to play as many games as possible, work on my fitness and to be a part of this Milan team. It was hard work but I am pleased with the way my first game went." Congratulations David!!
