I have composed a list of all things Victoria for 2008. I hope you enjoy the very 1st "Victoria Beckham Style Awards." I would love to hear your feedback! Please leave some comments about what you liked, disagree with, or even want me to add!
-Brookyln's Birthday Party: Marc Jacobs dress, Christian Louboutin heels, Hermes Birkin, & dVb aviators. I love how she accessorized this dress! Exquisite!- Her 34th Birthday Party: Giambattista Valli dress, Christian Louboutin heels, Hermes Clutch. This is by far one of her best looks of the year! I love the dress and I completely adore her sequin shoes! Love it, love it, love it!
-dVb Promotion at Harrods: Ana Sekularac top & dVb jeans. I love how structured her top was and I really love her choice of hairstyle. This is also where she debuted her red carpet smirk!
-CFDA Fashion Awards: Marc Jacobs Resort dress and shoes. This dress was so dramatic and exquisite! I loved the detail. This dress was praised high and low, especially after her Costume Institute Gala dress. I loved her shoes! I don't know how she walked in them because the sole was just a metal bar. This look is head to toe fabulous!- Marc Jacobs Fashion Show- MB Fashion Week: dVb dress, Marc Jacobs cuff, Christian Louboutin shoes. This is the debut of the pixie which rocked fashion week! This is also when she launched her 1st line of dresses. This dress, from her very own collection, is to timelessly elegant. I love how the bangle gave just enough spice to the outfit! Another winner!
- Beckham Signature Signing at Harvey Nichols: Giambattista Valli dress & Christian Louboutin shoes. This is angelic Victoria. The dress was so simple but when she turned around, it had a bit of an unexpected edge to it. My favorite part was her shoes. I loved them!!
-dVb Promotion at Jades in Germany: dVb jeans & aviators. She absolutely oozes sex appeal here! She wears menswear extremely well! I think this was a very sexy look on Victoria.- Eva Longoria's Allure Cover Party: Dolce & Gabbana dress & Balenciaga heels. This dress looked like it was made just for Victoria. This is another of my favorite dresses of the year. I loved it. I also loved how she paired the silver Balenciaga heels with it.
- All my Sons in NYC: This dress does not have an ID just yet although some say it from her collection. Her shoes were Balenciaga and her bag was Chanel. I love this entire look! Beautiful from head to toe. It's so elegant.-NYC (MET, Donna Karan, Bergdorf pre-launch): Dress by dVb, shoes were YSL, dVb sunglasses, Hermes Birkin bag. Another one of my all time favorites! Va Va Voom is all I can say! Love this!
My Least Favorite Looks of '08
You all know I love all things Victoria and it pains me to have to say this but these two are my least favorite looks of the entire year. The white RM Triton coat on the streets of NYC while she shopped after fashion week. I really didn't love this at all. VB's street style is always so chic and I think this was a bit drab. The checkered Balenciaga coat dress she wore after leaving her family in NYC Thanksgiving weekend was by far my least favorite look. I loved the Brikin, her shoes, and her trademark sunglasses but I think the coat dress aged her. It is a bit Jackie O inspired so I did give her a bit of credit, other than that, not for me.Most Refreshing Color Choices
The yellow RM by Roland Mouret dress she wore to the ESPYS and the tangerine Jil Sander dress she wore to Romeo's birthday bash were two of her most refreshing color choices this year. She does wear a lot of black and these pops of color really suit her. I love when she wears colorful pieces. She has such a great figure and she's so tanned, she can pull off all colors!
While shopping in New York at Bergdorf Goodman, Victoria wore this all winter white Marc Jacobs ensemble. It was so elegant and I loved how she added a touch of red by pairing her red Birkin and red dVb aviators (that I love)._______________________________
Re-Run Outfit of the Year
Her black silk What Comes Around Goes Around dress is definitely the most worn piece of the year. This is her go to LBD and she makes it look fresh every time!________________________________
Mom Chic 2008
Only Victoria Beckham would teeter around a Build-a-Bear workshop chasing three boys at a local mall. Mrs. Beckham made walking on these pin thin Marc Jacobs stilettos look like she was wearing slippers! I love her dress and how she compliments her shoes with her gray Armani bag.
You never know what to expect when Victoria Beckham arrives at an airport. A fabulous dress, a military inspired look, a 70's cherry print dress, skin tight leather pants, multicolored denim... the list goes on. What you do know is that she will always look fabulous! I loved when she arrived at LAX in what I call her 'Hepburn' dress. She definitely channels her inner Audrey with this look and I love it! The Louboutins, Chanel bag, and over sized sunglasses complete the look,

Cutest Casual Style of 2008
She's proved it's ok for Posh to go casual and this was my favorite casual look for her. I loved her headband and her aviators. I really like the baggy jeans. I'm proud she has finally bought a pair of flip flops (from A&F which I also own). Love this relaxed look on her!_______________________________
Cutest Couple Color Coordination
The Beckhams get it right every time! They are the only couple who color coordinate their outfits without going OTT. This was probably my favorite Victoria look and I love how David's outfit complimented his wife's but gave each ensemble enough room to shine! Love them!

Most Unexpected Look of 2008
Never ever in my wildest dreams did I expect to see Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice, in cut off denim shorts and flip flops! I didn't even dream of seeing her poolside like this! I was thinking more along the lines of a cute sun dress and a pair of high heeled flip flops. This was a shock! But I love how she's loosening up! She must really love LA because we would never see her dressed like this in the UK.________________________________
Most Disappointing Look
First things first, it pains me to call her look disappointing and I want you all to know that I did not hate this! This is just not what I expected for her. I thought more on the lines of Eva Longoria's fabulous dress (who I thought was the belle of the ball) or even the simple dress George Clooney's ex Sarah wore. This was just not Victoria. I disliked the hair and the fact that she looked so unhappy. Her shoes were fierce though! I love the Choo 'Lance' sandals. Better luck next year.

Most Copied Look
Victoria was the first to wear this pale yellow RM by Roland Mouret dress on the Espy's red carpet. Not long after Alex Curran was photographed in the same dress (along with black Louboutins) at an outting for her husband and finally, Sandra Oh was the last to wear the dress at a red carpet event. Out of all three, Victoria is the winner - period.
I am a sucker for Christian Louboutin shoes! And I think we can say the same for Victoria. The fact that my 2 favorite shoes are Louboutins should come as no shock. I simply adored the silver sequin shoes she wore while promoting her dVb denim line at Harvey Nichols. The spikey Louboutin for Rodarte shoes were so unexpected and so fierce.. you gotta love them!________________________________
Oddest Shoes of the Year
By far her Antonio Berardi heel-less boots were the most outrageous shoes of the year. Only the high heel queen can get away with boots with no heels.Favorite Handbag of the Year
The Hermes Birkin.. what else! I am envious of her entire Hermes collection so I couldn't choose just one. However, I have a soft spot for the hot pink Ostrich Birkin.

Favorite Tour Costume
Yes the tour did begin at the end of 2007 but I saw it in February so this can still be considered 2008 for me. Let me just say that Roberto Cavalli did a fantastic job on all the costumes! I am a sucker for sparkles so this all rhineston ensemble was my absolute fave!________________________________
Favorite USA Cover of the Year

Oh so elegant!

Favorite Foreign Cover of the year
The Bazaar Thailand cover was my favorite foreign VB cover of the year.

Favorite dVb Dresses
Her new collection is proving to be a success story selling out even before it globally launches. Consisting of 10 ultra feminine dress, the collection is STUNNING! These are my 3 top favorites:1. The Barabazan (#8) - I love the beaded detail.. I can't wait to see this on Victoria and the red carpet
2. The Orthez (#8) - Love the classic simplicity of this dress. She wore this to the Marc Jacobs fashion show when she launched the collection in NY.
